We are just about one week away from registration opening for the 2024 Season of the Tavistock Tsunamis! The committee and coaches have been busy planning for a fantastic season. As you may have seen, we have a new website (Swimtopia) this year! Kevin, our awesome computer operator, has done a TON of work to set this up to run smoothly this season. The most exciting feature is the ability to pay for registration via credit card online! Checks, money orders and cashier's check are also acceptable forms of payment. Please bear with us as we work through the nuances if things are a little clunky during registration and setting up everyone's accounts! 

Registration will open for returning Tsunamis (residents and non-residents) and new Tavistock residents on April 1st! If we have not met our headcount cap of 110 swimmers by May 1st, it will open for new non-residents. Please follow the steps below to enable your account (all past data has been added to Swimtopia):

• Go to Login - Tavistock Farms Tsunamis (swimtopia.com) to reset your password. This will utilize your previous email.
• Note: If you wish to set up a new account with a new email address, you can do that too and you should be able to enter in your swimmer's name and birthdate to link them to your account. This should enable multiple parents to have logins that are associated with their swimmers, something Team Unify couldn't previously handle.
• On April 1st, go to Home - Tavistock Farms Tsunamis (swimtopia.com) and select "Register." There will be two registration tracks for residents and non-residents. Please select the right track based on your residency as the cost is different for residents and non-residents.

A few other important updates:

• Please mark your calendars for the parent's meeting on May 19th at the farmhouse from 4-5pm. All swimmers that are rising freshman (9th grade) that are interested in junior coaching should come for interviews with our coaching team (Jessica, Kevin, Betsy, Siobhan, and Rick). All previous junior coaches need to re-interview. If your swimmer can't make it at that date/time, please email Coach Jessica at [email protected]. Evaluations will kick off after Memorial Day on May 28th. More info to come on that and meet schedules at the parent's meeting.
• I am so excited to announce that Betsy Allen is going to be partnering with me to manage the team this season, in addition to continuing to coach. Thank you Betsy!
• We are still looking for someone to partner with Amber on Concessions this season and to take over Concessions in 2015. This can be one person or multiple people to share the job. Amber has done an AMAZING job the past few years, but don't let her well-oiled machine scare you off. It can be lower key and still be successful!
• The fee this season has gone up by $5 due to costs associated with Swimtopia. We have to pay $6/swimmer this year to ODSL for this software. We do not expect the fee to go up next year. We will still have the $15/swimmer discount for siblings. Additionally, you can opt in to contribute $10 for drinks for concessions instead of bringing a case of beverages during the first week of practice.
