TSUNAMI SWIMMER CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT

The Tavistock Tsunami swim team places emphasis upon teamwork and respect, for fellow swimmers, coaches and volunteers. The following standards are expected to be upheld:

• 1. I understand that being a Tsunami is a privilege, and I promised to uphold the policies and rules of the swim team.
• 2. I agree to follow the instructions of coaches and swim staff/officers without dissent.
• 3. I understand that continued disruptive behavior is grounds for dismissal from practices, meets and social functions.
• 4. I agree to be respectful of coaches, volunteers, parents and fellow swimmers (including opposing teams).
• 5. I agree to encourage my teammates and not criticize their mistakes.
• 6. I agree to participate in practices, meets and social functions in a sportsman-like manner at all times.
• 7. I understand I will be given one warning for disruptive behavior or violations of rules/policies. If a second warning is needed, I will be asked to leave the event.
• 8. I agree to be respectful of the pool facilities and equipment, including at opposing team’s premises. I understand I am responsible for any damage due to my misuse of equipment.
• 9. I understand use or possession of tobacco, alcohol or drugs is grounds from dismissal from the team.

I understand the standards outlined above and agree to abide by them for the 2026 Tavistock Farms Tsunami’s swim season.

PARENT PARTICIPATION AND VOLUNTEERING COMMITMENT

I have read and understood the volunteer commitment (as described the Tavistock Farms Tsunami Code of Conduct) that is required for my child(ren) to participate on the 2026 Tavistock Tsunamis Swim Team. I specifically understand that I am required to volunteer for at least 5 meets per season.
