DIVISONALS INFO AND JOB SIGN-UP
All, we have received the following sign-up genius for volunteer spots for this weekend's Divisionals meet being held at Lovettsville. Most of the spots are half meet commitments, which means a shorter commitment but that we need to provide a higher quantity of volunteers. That means we will need everyone to sign up to volunteer if your child is swimming!

In case you aren't aware, the Divisionals meet is a combined meet with 5 teams in our "Division" as defined by the Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL). In our Division, we are swimming with Lovettsville, Rivercrest, Stoneleigh, and Greenway Farms. There are no relays at this meet and the meet usually takes much longer than a typical meet.
Below are the specific ODSL rules for the Divisionals meet. Please note the change this season where swimmers may swim in the meet and qualify for the All-Star meet:
End of Season Meets Eligibility (Section 12 in the ODSL Rules)
- Swimmers may only compete in the EOS Meets if the swimmer has swum in at least two League sanctioned meets during the current season.
- A swimmer without an official League time (NT) in an event cannot swim in that event in an EOS Meet.
- Swimmers who make a qualifying time will be eligible to swim at the All-Star meet in the events they qualified for.
- Swimmers may make a qualifying time at Divisionals and swim at All Stars
- Swimmers who make 1 qualifying All-Star time will be eligible to swim at Divisional, but not in the event they qualified for.
- Swimmers who have 2 or more times All-Star qualifying times, will not be eligible to swim at the Divisional meet.
- A swimmer entered in the All-Star Meet may select 3 events from free, back, breast, fly and IM.
Please ensure your swimmer is declared by Wednesday of this week (July 17th) to swim in this meet. There will 100% be no late adds/changes for this meet due to the size and complexity of organizing this event. Thank you!
