Parking Details

• Unfortunately our normal street parking for meets has recently been turned into bike lanes. Our HOA wants us to keep as much parking along Riverbank street as possible to limit disruption to the community. As you come into the neighborhood you will see the pool across the street from the first stop sign. After passing through that stop, you are welcome to drop off large items, like tents etc across from the entrance of the pool parking lot and then proceed down Riverbank. Please park on both sides of the street starting at the next stop sign located at the corner of Riverbank and Middle Bluff place. If that area becomes full please park on the left and right of the cross streets of Riverbank.

Team Area

• The Team Areas are located in the parking lot with direct access to the pool deck. Tavistock will have the back section of the parking lot towards the play set. Riptide will set up towards the entrance. Please feel free to bring canopies and chairs. We respectfully request that you make sure the area is clean and free of trash before leaving.

Spectators:

• The away team spectators may set up chairs on the left side (not Parking lot side) of the pool, and our team spectators are on the parking lot side. There should be no spectators entering the pool deck, or loitering around the area of the small gate that the swimmers use to enter the deck for their races.

Time-Line:

• Our Pool Deck will Open to everyone at 4:45pm
• Riptide warmups will be at 5:00 p.m.
• Tavistock warmups will be at 5:25 p.m.
• The National Anthem will be played at 5:55pm. Please select 3 swimmers to swim the flags across the pool while the Anthem is played.
• The Meet will start promptly at 6:00pm.

Timers

• Thank you for volunteering to help to collect accurate times for our swimmers. We have a 6 lane pool, so please plan to bring 9 timers with you. We will hold a timers briefing at 5:35pm. We use an electronic timing system and at that time, we will review timing procedures, assignments & watch operations.

Officials

• The Stroke and Turn officials should also report to the Referee at 5:35pm, Please plan to bring 2 stroke and turn officials.

Other Volunteer Positions

• One Parking lot clerk of course
• one deck clerk for your swimmers
• Ribbon helper (we will print ribbons throughout the meet)

Relays

• Relays will be run regardless of the time. We have a fairly small team so this isn’t generally an issue, but we just want you to be aware of our policy in case the meet runs late.

100 Freestyle

• The 100 Freestyle will be swum after the relays.

Concessions

• We will have concessions available and will include Chick-Fil-A Chicken sandwiches, fresh grilled hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs, pasta, chips, assorted candy and drinks.
• We accept both cash and Venmo.

• Meet Start Time: 6:00 PM (promptly)
• Warm-Ups:
  • Tavistock: 5:15–7:30 PM
  • Ida Lee: 5:35–7:50 PM
• Officials Meeting (Judges & Timers): 5:45 PM
• Team Area: Ida Lee will be set up on the right as you enter through the side gate. A sign should be over your area.
• Concessions: Available on the pool deck
  • Warm food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis
• Baby Pool: Closed during the meet (no swimming allowed)
• Parking:
  • The parking lot is reserved for the visiting team
  • Overflow parking is available on Macalister, Santmyer, and Tavistock streets
  • Please do not park in front of houses or in the townhome area

Parking Details: We reserve our pool parking lot for our invited team. There should be enough parking, however, if the lot is full, we recommend you drop your swimmer off and find street parking on Patrice Drive, SE. Please do NOT park in the parking lots for our townhomes on Cobbler Terrace, Tammy Terrace or Spencer Terrace, as those spots are reserved for residents only.

Wednesday Schedule:

Our Pool Deck will Open to everyone at 7:00 AM

Warm ups for Kincaid Forest will be 7:15-7:30 AM

Warmups for the Tavistock will be 7:35-7:50 AM

The Meet will start promptly at 8:00 AM.

**Official briefings will occur at 7:30 am. Immediately followed by Timer Briefings at 7:40 am.

Seating:

The home and visiting teams sit on opposite sides of the pool. We invite our visiting team to sit on the side of the pool closest to the entrance of the pool. Concessions will be available! We do take Cash and Venmo.

Supervision

Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up their team areas.
